Ubisoft has been killing it with their game reveals today during their conference for E3, including the reveal of their long-awaited game Beyond Good and Evil 2. The game, which is the prequel to the hit 2003 game Beyond Good and Evil, is finally here with a three-minute cinematic spot. The prequel was announced in 2008 but was never followed up. Now, with the reveal, we can tell you the game takes place before Jade, the main character from the first game, is born.
In the trailer, we see a cheeky monkey who swindles a pig out of a disk and escapes the police who are chasing after him and his human companion. They fly to a hidden ship where they hand the disk over to be unlocked. The disk is revealed to be a map for them to find ‘true freedom’.
Fans will have the opportunity to sign up for the “Space Monkey” program for early information and possible playtime.
