Star Trek Discovery has finally revealed their premiere date after several date setbacks on the series. The series officially is set to premiere on Sunday, September 24th at 8:30/7:3oc on CBS. Following the broadcast premiere, the first and second episodes will be available on CBS All Access that same night, but new episodes will air exclusively on CBS All Access every Sunday after.

The series will have 15 episodes and consist of two chapters. The first eight episodes will run from September 24th to November 5th with a brief winter hiatus. It’ll resume with the second chapter in January 2018. Talking Trek, a weekly Star Trek Discovery aftershow, will also launch exclusively on CBS All Access.
Produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment, the cast consists of Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Anthony Rapp, Michelle Yeoh, Chris Obi, Shazad Latif, James Frain, and Mary Chieffo. Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
Star Trek Discovery will premiere on September 24th in the U.S. on CBS and CBS All Access, OTT service in Canada, and internationally to over 188 countries on Netflix.
