Although TNT’s version of the Titans series was canceled before production last year, DC’s streaming service announced that it would be producing a Titans live-action series featuring Nightwing, Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy. TheHashTagShow was able to get its hands on the casting announcements. And these include some great insight as to what fans can expect for each character including the storyline that may follow. If you’re a comic book fan, it’s pretty easy to figure out which casting description coincides with each Titan character.
You can also tell from the casting of Titans that DC is open about casting a very mixed group of characters. (Well, besides Nightwing being Caucasian.) So Titans‘ possible diverse cast can help it reach a bigger audience, even for groups who might not normally be comic book movies or television fans. Dick Grayson/Nightwing

Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, and Geoff Johns are producing DC’s Titans. The series is set to premiere in 2018 on DC’s new streaming service.
