The world discovered Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. They will soon get to see him swing across Manhattan in Spider-Man: Homecoming. After his lip sync performance during the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, people will know of him as an amazing dancer and performer. During the show, Holland participated in the Lip Sync Battle segment with LL Cool J and Zendaya watching. Audiences witnessed the actor pull off some amazing moves as he channels his inner Gene Kelly with a Singin’ in the Rain dance number. Holland then transformed into Rihanna complete with wig and revealing and tight leather outfit with “Umbrella” playing in the background. Watch him spin, tap dance, and groove in this epic and astonishing performance.

A lot of comic book and superhero movie fans already know of Tom Holland. After this performance, he’ll be getting millions of more fans of his dancing. Yes, there are people who haven’t heard of the British actor.

One person joked that Tom Holland only played Spider-Man as a promotional tool for this performance.

I feel sorry for the person who had to perform after Holland, and that was Zendaya. She was no slouch as she lip-synced and danced to Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.” It’s great to see the two Spider-Man: Homecoming stars battle it out all in good fun.

There are those who still believe that Zendaya is going to play Mary Jane. She puts those rumors to rest during an interview. Do you believe her?

Another Spider-Man Moment

That wasn’t the only Spider-Man-related moment during the show. The host of the show, Chrissy Teigen, dressed as Spider-Man and repelled down and gave her husband, John Legend, the upside-down kiss that was seen in the first Spider-Man film.

Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters on July 5, 2017.
