Back in January, Shout Factory announced that it had secured the rights to distribute the first three films of Digimon Adventure tri. in North America complete with English and Japanese audio. Shout Factory has announced first film “Reunion” will be available for purchase on May 16th on both Blu-ray and DVD.
Digimon Adventure Tri. Reunion originally aired in November 2015 in theaters in Japan and streamed on Crunchyroll.com. In September of last year, Toei Animation and Eleven Arts aired a special screening of the film with English audio that included the return of most of the original cast from the series.
The fourth film in the six-part series, “Loss,” aired back in February with the fifth film set to release later this year.
