Kingston had a very successful CES run this year as they showed off many new and updated products that are all affordable and made for the both the consumer and business level. We were able to spend some time with the team and watch the performance of the devices and see how they actually work. It definitely was the best in show compared to its competitors at CES 2017.
Kingston brought one of CES 2017’s hottest product, the newly announced 2 TB DataTraveler Ultimate Generation Terabyte, which is the world’s highest capacity USB Flash drive to date! The new DataTraveler Ultimate GT offers up to 2TB of storage space and USB 3.1 Gen 1 performance which can store up to 70 hours of 4K video in a device as small as lipstick! The 1TB and 2TB DataTraveler Ultimate GT is available for purchase in February and is backed by 5-year warranty, free technical support and legendary Kingston reliability.
Kingston has also released the entry level A400 solid-state drive which can improve the responsiveness of your existing system with an incredible boot, loading and transfer times compared to mechanical hard drives. This SSD is 10x faster than a traditional hard drive for higher performance, ultra-responsive multi-tasking and an overall faster system. We were able to see the speed in action and watch how quickly the PC started while also launching 50 applications at start-up, leaving us utterly impressed for such an economical device! Also more reliable and durable than a hard drive, A400 is available in multiple capacities from 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB starting as low as $75.
Kingston’s M.2 SATA SSD is becoming the new standard for SSDs in laptops and even in gaming rigs. It is a compact, caseless internal solid-state drive that combines high capacity with low power consumption which helps speed up performance with the PCI express lanes.
