We’re getting closer to 2017… and that means closer to the new season of AMC’s Into the Badlands.
To prepare fans for the upcoming season, AMC has released some first look photos, including new cast member Nick Frost as Bajie, a schemer with questionable morals who finds himself allied with Sunny (Daniel Wu).
The photos feature Sunny, The Widow, and Sunny with Baije in what looks to be in prison. The Widow seems to have survived and is still on the run from the other Barons. She must fight for her and the Butterflies lives and it looks like she still got it. Jade, on the other hand, is dressed so elegantly. It’s unknown if she marries anyone (we are still unsure about Quinn’s life), but she looks to still be living in luxury.
Daniel Wu did share a bit about the season and that we will be seeing life outside the Badlands… and it’s not pretty.
Into the Badlands returns in 2017 on AMC.
