It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen any new footage from Justin Kurzel’s adaptation of Assassin’s Creed. After all, to many fans, a lot is riding on Assassin’s Creed to break the long streak of awful video game movie adaptations. Truly becoming, what they believe, to be the first ever video game adaptation that’s both a critical and commercial hit. Today, 20th Century Fox has released the second trailer for Assassin’s Creed featuring more scenes with Jeremy Irons and Michael K. Williams. Check it out!
After disappointing fans by announcing that the film will mostly take place in the present, the latest trailer shows just that. Most of the trailer features Fassbender, Irons, Williams, Marion Cotillard, and a grip of other hostages stuck in Abstergo. The latest trailer shows more of what the Animus can do including the adverse effect it has on the user – something that fans of the franchise will realize right away. I’m still in a firm believer that the film will still do well with the talent behind-the-scenes.
