Tech companies, prepare for massive “sick day” announcements next week. The granddaddy of the “Just one more turn” video game genre released a new trailer ahead of its release next week. That’s right, Civilization VI is gearing up for launch with a new trailer that perfectly encapsulates what it means to play Civ. This gameplay-free trailer takes us on a journey from the dark ages to the space age through a CGI montage.
There are few games that have taken up more of my childhood (okay, and adulthood) than the Civilization series. And this new entry is shaping up to be a nice addition to the Civopedia.
Civilization VI launches on October 21st.
