TwitchCon 2016 will be held next week in San Diego, California, and will see Panda Global’s Ryan “Filipino Champ” Ramirez and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal appear on stream to talk about the Bud Light eSports Bash and even face off in a fighting game or two. The announcement was made on Fchamp’s Twitter page.
Im going to stream with @SHAQ next week!
We gonna talk about @BudLightEsports Bash at twitchcon and maybe run some sets!@PandaGlobalPG— PG.Ryan Ramirez (@fchampryan) September 21, 2016
While it’s unknown what games will be played, we can only imagine it will be Street Fighter V as Fchamp was elected as the fighting game community’s representative on the Bud Light All-Stars eSports team. Who knows, we may also see both players face off in Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, which was successfully crowdfunded on Indiegogo back in 2014.
Shaq is also a huge supporter of eSports, being an investor for the NRG eSports team which focuses on various games including League of Legends, Counterstrike: Go and even Smash Bros.
