Director Joss Whedon has a lot of pull in the entertainment world. He created the iconic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the cult following Firefly, and of course, brought the Avengers together on the big screen. Whedon is now pulling his celebrity power to bring together his Super Friends to encourage people to vote in this November’s election.
He’s made all the stops by pulling all the celebrities he could find and putting them in this hilarious and important PSA. The video features celebrity powerhouses like Robert Downey Jr, Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Clark Gregg, Colbie Smulders, Jesse Williams, James Franco, Bradly Whitford, Keegan-Michael Key, Rosie Perez, Stanley Tucci, Don Cheadle, Yvette Nicole Brown, Martin Sheen, Randall Park, Ashley Johnson, Leslie Odom Jr, Matt McGorry, Bradley Whitford, and Tom Lenk.
Whedon seems to know the power of celebrities and included an incentive if there are a lot of people voting – a nude scene of Mark Ruffalo in his next film – which came to a surprise for Ruffalo.
“Mark is going to have his dick out,” declared Downey.
