Japanese bank unveils Hatsune Miku credit card

16758905_P30.epsMost banks entice new members with points driven programs, cash back percentages and airline miles in an attempt to earn your loyalty. In Japan, banks appeal to the otaku (one with obsessive interests in anime or manga). According to Rocketnews24, one of Japan’s largest banks, Sumitomo Mitsui, is releasing an exclusive MasterCard of world famous anime vocaloid character Hatsune Miku. Fans that become cardholders will have access to exclusive Hatsune Miku artwork and gifts. This card is a new edition to the Hatsune Miku Visa card released last year and comes with many new perks.

The card will feature an original illustration by creator Ogi Pote and exclusive items will be given to the first 3,000 people to sign up such as a clear file of the original Visa Card Design.
