Missed the 50th Celebration at San Diego Comic-Con? Missing the Star Trek Convention this weekend in Las Vegas?
Have no fear! There is another Star Trek 50 Year Mission event coming to a city near you! Creation Entertainment are bringing The 50 Year Mission Tour to Minneapolis for three days from Friday, August 12th to Sunday, August 14th at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
So many of your favorite Star Trek celebrities will be there to celebrate 50 years of the epic franchise, including William Shatner, Terry Farrell, Ethan Phillips, Vaughn Armstrong, Jeffrey Combs, Casey Biggs, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, John de Lancie, Max Grodenchik, Aron Eisenberg, Chase Masterson, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, JG Hertzler, and Robert O’Reilly.
In addition to the celebrity appearances, every day there is something new for fans – scenes presentations, cosplay, trivia contests, auctions, and special salute videos and previews of the upcoming sci-fi television shows and films. There will also be an exhibit hall with a bunch of collectibles and photo ops!
On Friday night, the Star Trek ‘rat pack’ will be performing a special concert for fans with Jeffrey Combs, Vaughn Armstrong, Casey Biggs, Ethan Phillips and Max Grodenchik present. This requires a special ticket, but only for $30.
General admission tickets are available at the door for $25 on Friday and Saturday and $35 on Sunday. Children six and under are free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. The event hours are Friday, 10:00 – 7:00 PM, Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, and Sunday, 10:00 M – 6:00 PM (times are tentative).
