Sailor Scouts unite, for VIZ Media is releasing the first edition of Sailor Moon Crystal for home release. I have been a fan of the Sailor Scouts since the original series during my middle school days, and I enjoyed the updates that came along with the reboot version. I’ve can’t wait to get a chance to re-watch one of my favorite anime again this time all in crystal clear 1080p quality.
There will be two versions of the Sailor Moon Crystal Set 1, both are comprised of the first 14 episodes of the reboot from the classic anime series. The Limited Edition Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack will include 4 discs (2 Blu-rays and 2 DVDs), seven full-color collectible art cards, and a premium 88-page art booklet featuring episode summaries, exclusive interviews, exclusive interviews, character settings and more. The Blu-ray set is all housed inside a Deluxe Chipboard box and also includes a digital art gallery, trailers including a very special Introduction to Sailor Moon Crystal featuring the English voice actors.
Both editions are currently available, the LE edition will retail for $79.99 U.S./ $99.99 CAN. For those not interested in the all the bonus content can pick up the Standard edition DVD for $39.99 U.S. / $51.99 CAN.
