The 2016 Pokémon World Championships has concluded after three days of matches. The best Pokémon players from around the world competed in either the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Omega Ruby/Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, and Pokkén Tournament, to be the very best.
At the event’s finale, the location for the 2017 Pokémon World Championships was announced with next year’s event being held in Anaheim, California. It’s been 10 years since Anaheim hosted the Pokémon World Championships and will also be the second time since 2005 and 2006 that California hosted two World Championships back to back.
Get your copies of Pokémon Sun and Moon ready this November, or get your decks ready if you plan on competing next year!
