Hitman has been a great success for the franchise, often being heralded as a return to form. This success has prompted IO Interactive to announce that there will be two more seasons after this one is wrapped up in December. The announcement was made on Hitman’s Twitter feed. They have stated that season two has not been confirmed yet, using the jargon of TV speak with the phrase “pending renewal”.
@bergf89 Of course, our plan is to have three seasons. Although Season Two hasn't been confirmed yet.

However with the widespread acclaim the first season has been getting so far, it’s pretty much in the bag. The extremely large and open-ended maps of the game have kept the episodes that have already been released fresh along with their Elusive Target missions which famously just recently featured actor Gary Busey as a target.
So until then, you’ll have plenty of creative ways to take out your targets.
