Beauty and the Beast looks to be absolutely faithful to the beloved animated classic than a new reinvention. As you can see from the images of Beast and Gaston, they are sticking faithfully to the original. However, the “non-human” characters look to be getting a more intricate and updated look to them. This should please fans as the Disney’s animated classic is beloved by many and a chance to see the live-action version will likely be enough to bring people to the theater. Especially after the box office and critical success to their previous efforts: The Jungle Book and Cinderella.
Beauty and the Beast stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as LeFou, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Kevin Kline as Belle’s father Maurice, and Stanley Tucci as Cadenza.
