Apple TV+

See, Series Premiere: Starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, See is a high concept series that takes place in a future where humanity has lost the ability to perceive the world with sight. It will follow the story of fearless leader Baba Voss, the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see—who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who believes it’s witchcraft and wants them destroyed.

The Morning Show, Series Premiere: Starring Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston, and Reese Witherspoon, Apple’s drama follows the lies of the people who wake up before dawn and deliver the morning talk shows on TV. The series was inspired by journalist Brain Stelter’s novel, Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV.

For All Mankind, Series Premiere: The series, starring Joel Kinnaman, explores what would have happened if the global space race never ended. The drama presents an aspirational world where NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline — a world in which the USSR beats the US to the moon.

Dickinson, Series Premiere: Starring Hailee Steinfeld as the titular rebel, the series is set during Emily Dickinson’s era with a modern sensibility and tone. It takes viewers into the world of Emily, audaciously exploring the constraints of society, gender, and family from the perspective of a budding writer who doesn’t fit into her own time through her imaginative point of view. Dickinson is Emily’s coming-of-age story — one woman’s fight to get her voice heard.

Amazon Prime Video

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Season 2 Premiere: In Season 2, after tracking a potentially suspicious shipment of illegal arms in the Venezuelan jungle, CIA Officer Jack Ryan (John Krasinski) heads down to South America to investigate. As Jack’s investigation threatens to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy, the President of Venezuela launches a counter-attack that hits home for Jack, leading him and his fellow operatives on a global mission spanning the United States, UK, Russia, and Venezuela to unravel the President’s nefarious plot and bring stability to a country on the brink of chaos. The second season, even bigger and better than the first, will begin streaming on Friday, November 1.

Renewals

Evil, Season 2: CBS has renewed its supernatural horror drama for a second season, set to premiere during the network’s 2020-2021 schedule! The series a psychological mystery series about the battle between science and religion. It focuses on Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), a skeptical female clinical psychologist who joins David Acosta (Mike Colter), a Catholic priest-in-training, and a blue-collar contractor as they investigate supposed miracles, demonic possessions, and other extraordinary occurrences to see if there’s a scientific explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work. The first season is currently airing new episodes on Thursday nights and can be streamed on the CBS site.

Modern Love, Season 2: A week following its debut on Amazon Prime Video, the romantic-drama anthology series has been renewed for a second season! The show is based on the popular New York Times column and weekly podcast. Each episode of the half-hour series will explore love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms. The first season can be streamed on Amazon Prime.
