Fortnite is a survival game that pits players against everyone else with up to 100 players. You can do solo play, which pits you up against other solo players, or you can do a team of 4 against the other 24 teams.

Players will first jump out of a flying bus and land on an island. Once you reach land, you’ll need to find weapons and items to help give you the upper hand against your enemies. Some weapons are more powerful than others, so it will be a madhouse as players fight each other to get the best weapons and the best spots. As players are fighting, the map will shrink until there’s only one person or one team left.

I had the chance to play the game for a bit on my Samsung Galaxy S9+, and it feels pretty intuitive for a mobile game. You’ll be able to crouch, run, shoot, and build. Accessing options, like selecting materials for building and viewing the map, are pretty easy since they all can be accessed on the screen. Of course, playing on the keyboard and mouse or controller is preferred when maneuvering and aiming, but it’s great if you’re out and about in real life. You can even play with your friends who are on other platforms like the PC, Xbox One, or PS4.
