New Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer brings back the fun

Ant-Man and the Wasp Trailer #2

After the gut punch that was Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel has felt that it should give fans something a little bit more lighthearted. Enter Ant-Man and the Wasp. The day after Infinity War smashed all of the records, Marvel Studios quickly teased the brand new trailer. Early this morning, the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer is finally here. Check it out!

Ant-Man and the Wasp are looking great so far. With this new trailer, we get to see some characters put on the forefront this time around. The biggest reveal is how different the MCU’s Ghost is from its comic book counterpart. Ghost is typically an Iron Man villain. Thus, his comic book powers are more tech based. This time around it looks as if Ghost gets her powers from the quantum realm and Pym tech. At least, her appetite for infiltration and espionage are still the same.

Also, we have our first speaking role for Laurence Fishburne. We first saw Dr. Bill Foster for a bit in the first trailer, but we actually see him talk to Scott and the gang here. In the hilarious final scene, Dr. Bill Foster admits to becoming Goliath—who was his alter ego in the comics.

So what did you think of the Ant-Man and the Wasp trailer?

In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp hit theaters on July 6th.
