Rocket League update adds option to link Nintendo account to Twitch, but it's currently not working

One of the new options added in with the latest Rocket League update is the ability to link your Nintendo Account to Twitch. The thing is, if you actually try to link the two, you get an error message. Looks like this option will be going live in the near future.
