Dive into the world of 3D audio gaming headphones with Audeze Mobius

Audeze Mobius

Audeze is a California-based audio manufacturer that’s known for making high-end headphones. Its products are highly regarded in the music/sound industry as one of the few headphones that deliver the most accurate sound reproduction that is available today. The headphones are crafted and engineered using some of the latest innovations in materials and technology. Today Audeze announced its first line of headphones that will be aimed directly at today’s gamers called Mobius.

Mobius will be the first premium headset that will offer a fully immersive 3D cinematic audio will head-tracking technology. It features a state-of-the-art room emulation technology and anatomy calibration to optimize the way we depict and process sound. As you play your favorite games, Mobius aims to analyze the sounds in your video games to make it sound as if your room was encapsulated within your game. If you’re playing your favorite FPS game and someone’s trying to sneak up behind you, it will sound as if the person was really behind you!

The Mobius will feature a lightweight ergonomic design to reduce fatigue and increase the long-term use. The comfort of the Mobius will include replaceable contoured memory-foam earpads along with an adjustable and durable memory foam padded headband. The headphones will also come with a flexible and detachable boom microphone that has a built-in noise attenuation, mute/unmute functions, and independent volume control to provide crystal-clear voice quality.

The Mobius will not just be an innovative gaming headset, it will also be a truly immersive, mixed media platform that will have a fully-integrated surround sound functionality. The optional Mobius creator package will come bundled with 3D plugins from Waves (audio software for mixing and mastering) that includes waves’ B360 Ambisonics encoder and the NX Virtual Mix Room; important tools for anyone who’s looking to dive into the world of VR and Augmented Reality applications.

Audeze plans to start shipping the Mobius beginning in June 2018. If you are interested in purchasing the Mobius or learning more about it and its applications, you can visit the IndieGoGo campaign at http://igg.me/at/audeze-mobius or audeze.com
