Insomniac Games has made some fun games including Sunset Overdrive, Ratchet & Clank and the Resistance series. Now the studio will be developing a Spider-Man game, and it’s looking epic with the latest Paris Games Week trailer. We get to see characters like Mary Jane, Aunt May and Miles Morales, and we also get a taste of Peter Parker trying to live a normal life after the capture of Kingpin. Well, Spider-Man is needed again when a new threat, Mister Negative, appears.
Check out the teaser trailer below.
I have to praise Insomniac for the game’s visuals. I mean, just look at the face model and lighting below.
The story also looks to be very intimate, which is why many people enjoy the Spider-Man stories. Peter Parker is a relatable character who tries to save those he cares about against villains. As for the villain in this one, we get Mister Negative, aka Martin Li. In the comics, he runs a soup kitchen, F.E.A.S.T. Project (Food, Emergency Aid, Shelter and Training), a place where Aunt May volunteers.
The teaser trailer also hints at players being able to control Mary Jane. And from the looks of it, she’ll be involved in some stealth gameplay.
Marvel’s Spider-Man will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
