Rocket Raccoon teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!
On May 27, Disney California Adventure is unveiling the new attraction Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Now Marvel and Disney Parks have revealed the first teaser trailer for the experience featuring Rocket Racoon, which you can check out below!
Featuring characters from the blockbuster films, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! offers a new epic new adventure combining the familiar, breathtaking free-fall sensation with all-new visual and audio effects, including music inspired by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy film soundtrack. Guests will experience a variety of randomized ride experiences, so you never know which adventure you will get!
Each time guests board a gantry lift to rescue the Guardians from The Collector’s Fortress, they will experience one of the six randomized scenarios created for the attraction and one of the following songs:
“Hit Me With Your Best Shot” by Pat Benatar (1980)
“Give Up The Funk” by Parliament (1975)
“Born To Be Wild” by Steppenwolf (1968)
“I Want You Back” by The Jackson 5 (1969)
“Free Ride” by The Edgar Winters Group (1973)
“Burning Love” by Elvis Presley (1972)
The attraction will also feature new music from film composer Tyler Bates.

Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! -- Debuting in summer 2017, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will take Disney California Adventure park guests through the fortress-like museum of the mysterious Collector, who is keeping his newest acquisitions, the Guardians of the Galaxy, as prisoners. Guests will board a gantry lift which launches them into a daring adventure as they join Rocket Raccoon in an attempt to set free his fellow Guardians. The new attraction will transform the structure currently housing The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ into an epic new adventure, enhancing the breathtaking free fall sensation with new visual and audio effects to create a variety of ride experiences. Guests will experience multiple, random and unique ride profiles in which the rise and fall of the gantry lift rocks to the beat of music inspired by the film’s popular soundtrack.
