Well ladies and germs, it’s about that time. E3 2017 is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate than with some predictions? Starting with Microsoft, then Sony, then Nintendo, then every other company (Bethesda, EA, Ubisoft, etc). We’ll talk about the stuff we know will be at the show, then each give three predictions: a slightly obvious one, a wishful but plausible one, and “no way in hell this is going to happen but I want it to anyway” prediction.
Our first episode has us looking at Microsoft, who has a big year ahead of them with the Project Scorpio being released as more than just a mere upgrade to the Xbox One. Will they deliver next month? We won’t know until then but it’s fun to talk about! Special thanks to Kyle Campbell from Souper Gaming to join us in this discussion!
However, before that we go over some brief news. Chris got to play some Destiny 2 last week and we’re all jealous. We go over his impressions playing the game on both PC and PS4. Then we talk about the possible return of a recently cancelled IP from Microsoft and Platinum Games Scalebound, the game about the guy who commands dragons while wearing his Beats headset.
Nintendo also had a Direct last week detailing more info on their upcoming Switch games ARMS and Splatoon 2. We go over the details of ARMS and its waifus. Is nothing sacred anymore?
Have you ever wanted to play as your own character in a Sonic game? Of course you have, and Sonic Team knows it! So they’re implementing a character creator in Sonic Forces. You hear that? That’s the sound of many Deviantart users crying out in pure joy!
