Far Cry 5 poster teases a Last Supper with fanatics
Following the teaser trailer earlier this week, Ubisoft has debuted the key art for the upcoming Far Cry 5 teasing who players will be going up against in the title – extreme religious zealots from a small town. Check out the full Far Cry 5 poster in the gallery below and tune in here on Friday for the worldwide reveal of the game!
Eagle eye’d fans will notice the image hints at some of the vehicles and weapons that players will likely be able to wield in the title, including two different types of aircraft and a whole bunch of machine guns. It remains to be seen if the picture’s pie will be a weapon.
Far Cry 5 is set in the fictional Hope County, Montana, a rather different locale from the previous games, which have ranged from the tropical Micronesia to the savanna of Africa plus the mountains of the Himalayas and even pre-historic times.
The most recent entry in the over-the-top action series was Far Cry Primal, which debuted in 2016; however, the last numbered game in the series was Far Cry 4 which arrived back in 2014. Far Cry 4 remains the highest-selling entry in the series with over ten million units sold worldwide.
