Ubisoft has just released the open beta for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Players get to become elite soldiers as they try to take down the evil Santa Blanca cartel in Bolivia. You can do this alone with your NPC Ghost squad, or you can team up with friends or strangers online.
Before starting out, you’ll need to customize your character and choose from a selection of faces, outfits, hairstyle, tattoos and more. After your character is complete, you’ll finally get to explore the provinces of Itacua and Montuyoc with dynamic day/night cycle. You can enter a compound and start blasting away, or you can take a more cautious approach using stealth. For example, you can wait for the night and use binoculars and a drone to search for enemies. With the sync shot, you’ll be able to kill the bad guys without alerting others. You can also mess around in the world including riding dirt bikes around the mountain or parachuting out of a helicopter.
The open beta has had some server issues earlier today, but hopefully the recent server maintenance fixed the problem.
