Microsoft has finally revealed the official launch trailer for the upcoming Gears of War 4, and it is epic to say the least. The trailer sets the stage for the story and things to come within the game. We get a look at the new cast of JD Fenix, Del and Kait, along with old timer Marcus Fenix taking on the newest threat called the Swarm. Marcus (John DiMaggio) also does the narration through the entirety of the trailer to Lissie’s cover of Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters.” Oh, and hidden in there is a quick glimpse of fan favorite Augustus “Cole Train” Cole.
Gears of War 4 hits stores on October 11th, which is barely a couple weeks away. If you were one of the few that happened to get the Ultimate Edition, you get early access to the game starting from October 7th. Even though the game will be releasing on both Xbox One and Windows 10, they encourage players to “Never Fight Alone.” What that means, is that there will be cross-play between the two and you can play through co-op with a friend on different platforms.
